'N Family' Athletic

How is the athletic festival?
Since a few weeks before, at the kindergarten, we had learned how to play on the field and made some tools for the game.

The day, September 15th, has come! It was very clear and the best condition for the field playing.
All of us had the same athletic wears and little red caps. According to mama's advice, my hair was done up and set in a little cap, so I looked like a naughty boy. This style made my large brow known to my friends.

I took part in "Running" by the youngest class and "Brighten! The Little Life!" by all classes. At "Brighten!", the eldest class played the same performance as they would play at the opening ceremony of the National Athletic Meet in Hiroshima held a few weeks later. They were very skillful and much impressing. The youngest part was only running around the field with balloons and showing our little energy by physical exercise. But, every parent who saw their first child was running and playing cheerfully with many friends seemed to be moved very much.

My grandmother came to see me. Papa came there in the early morning to set up and decorate the field, and then, he got the foremost small area for our family. So, we could enjoy all programs without any obstacles.
In spite of the best seat, papa was moving here and there to take pictures of my friends and me. I was very ashamed of his behavior, so I ignored him.

Every teacher did her best to direct and attend us, little children.
