Today, it is the Christmas Eve. After papa finished some his works which had to been over in spite
of Sunday, we went to the downtown to feel the atmosphere of the Christmas Eve and buy something
for this day.
The shops, the streets, the trees and all of the things at downtown were decorated gorgeously.
Some snowflakes were falling down as the weather forecast said. Papa said the department store
or the lobby of the hotels were the best place to feel this happy day and we followed him.
We took some photographs at the lobby of the Regaroyal Hotel and the square "Pacela". I met
Santa for the first time there. He put on glasses and spoke Japanese.
Today, I could walk by myself without held by papa and mama. Coming back home, decorating some
candles, we had the christmas cake which mama and I had baked. I made a request to Santa for
Kitty's kitchen. Will he come here truely?

Lasy night, Santa came home!! He left Kitty's kitchen for his present for me. Papa and mama who
met him said to me that he had broken the door key and come in because he could not find a
chimney. Soon, I tried to bake some fishes and to make salad. I came to want some new plates.
Today, we had a heavy snowfall. The White Christmas had come truely!! We had chickens of Kentucky
Fried Chiken. Papa and mama said to me we had eaten them on the Christmas day for the last 3
years.

I have become 3 years old. I have come to be able to talk well and to go a toilet room by myself.
In next spring, I'll begin to go to kindergarten. Mama made a cake again. My task was topping.
We had it for three-o'clock refreshments. I felt as if I had eaten cakes everyday. The candles
were three. Papa took some photographs for my memorial day.

By the last day of the year, at my grandmother's house in Ube, I played with my cousins, Jun-chan
and Yu-chan, coming from Yokohama. But I went back to Hiroshima because papa had something to do
urgently. I celebrated the New Year with only papa and mama in Hiroshima.
I went to sleep and waked up as usual. The first sunrise we saw at the terrace was bery beautiful.
After praying for our happiness at Hijiyama shrine where we went to celebrate 753 last year,
and leaving papa alone, mama and I got on a plane for Tokyo.
It was long days before we had met my grandfather and grandmother the last, they welcomed us.
On the 2nd, many guests came and each of them gave me a New Year's present. On other days,
I went shopping, went to a small squirrel park and so on. New Year days, it was warm and very
calm. We came back to Hiroshima on the 7th.

On the 3rd, we went to the Tokyo Dome (Big Egg) to watch the American football game and cheered
the universuty both my grandfather and papa graduated from. The members were my grandfather,
grandmother, Mika-chan who is my mama's younger sister, mama and I. Mika-chan and mama seemed to
learn the rule of the game as they watched it, but I went to sleep in the middle of the game.
Kyoto University Gangsters defeated Matsushita (Panasonic) Erectric Works Impulse
and won the Japan American Football Championship. My grandfather said with laughing to me,
"It's a matter of course!"

On the Christmas day and my birthday, mama and I made cakes. Each one was characterized by the topping and so on. We got the materials of the cakes at Tokyu Hands which opened at the downtown of Hiroshima city a few months before. It took half a day to make and bake them, but it was very interesting. Of course, each of them was very delicious.
