I could experience "Summer Vacation" for the first time. Because everyday was holiday by last year when I had not gone to kindergarten.

On papa having the summer holiday in August, our family went to my grandfather's home in Kanagawa.

My grandfather had one week holiday and waited for us, especially for me.
I enjoyed going shopping with my grandmother, visiting the kindergarten mama had gone to, and so on. Mama's kindergarten is run by one of Catholic churches. Why...? Mama's home family belongs to "Nippon Shinto (Japanese original God)". My kindergarten is run by a Buddist temple.
Speaking of Japanese religious habit, most Japanese people enjoy the Christmas, and one week after, countdown with the gong sound of the Buddist temples, celebrate the New Year Day by way of Nippon Shinto, and visit the shrines.
Do you feel these Japanese religious habit strange?

I visited a squirrel garden again.
I could feed some squirrels by myself with a glove for the first time.

On the flight to Tokyo, I handed a purser my sign book as usual with invitation cards to my page (including my flight records). When a flight attendant returned it to me, I found 6 cards had been taken. I wonder if the captain and some flight attendants have already come to my page.
This flight was very comfortable because the ship was an international fleet, not a domestic type, and my sheet was business class one.

In Hiroshima, papa took me to the swiming pool at Chichiyasu High Park. "Chichiyasu" is a famous milk maker in Hiroshima, and the park where we can see cows is located on the top of a hill.
It was the last Sunday of the school summer holiday, so the park was very crowded. Papa said,"It looks as if many potatoes were washed in a bucket (one of Japanese proverb)."
We enjoyed the floating pool where it took about 10 minutes for one round and the giant wave pool. The latter was more interesting. Big waves shook me, and sometimes knocked me against someone else. It was exciting.
Papa tried hard to pretend not to look at the young women in beautiful swimwears..... I know he actually took a glance at them...

A small train and driving-car were nice, too.

It was a little lonely for my kindergarten friends, but this summer was very memoriable for me.
